Trauma Resiliency Skills Group I
Trauma can have a deep and lasting impact on our sense of self, and leave us feeling stuck in the past or disconnected from who we want to be. As the foundational skills group for our trauma series, we will focus on developing techniques for emotion and nervous system regulation, empowering you to stay in the present and move towards the meaningful life you want to build.
This group will help you to manage painful emotions, uncover how your past experiences are impacting you presently, and develop trust in yourself.
Through psycho-education, skills building exercises, and supportive processing, you will leave this group with a greater capacity for self-soothing and creating safety in your body. The group’s containing and grounded environment will encourage curious and compassionate exploration of self. Trauma Resiliency draws from and integrates Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and the Neuro-Affective Relational Model.
You may benefit from this group if you experience:
Emotional overwhelm

Fear of being hurt or abandoned

“Sometimes showing up (for group) is the biggest hurdle… Even through the hard moments, the sad moments, I felt like I was getting new tools and coming to a safe space each week.”
