We celebrate and value connection. Our work as therapists requires much of us, and we see workshops as an opportunity to be witnessed, held, and supported in the process. Trainings are an opportunity to come together and build community beyond our often siloed practices.

We value engaging, experiential, and embodied methods of learning. There is wisdom and knowledge held within not just our minds, but our bodies, our relationships, and our communities. Rather than seeing participants as passive receivers of knowledge, we see workshops as a place for mutual and reciprocal learning – a co-created experience.

We are committed to lifelong growth and learning, both personally and professionally. We believe that the goal is not to “arrive” but to continually pursue the deepening of our understanding and awareness, and to open up new possibilities for how we engage in this work and with others.

We believe in the liberation of all people through the ongoing process of critical consciousness, tending to practices and systems that uphold oppression, acknowledging the structures in which we operate as mental health care professionals, and affirming the stories and lived experiences of our clients. We hold that personal liberation is part of the process of collective liberation.
